How to plan a road trip!
April 20, 2016The summer months are soon approaching which means it's the best time of the year to go on road trips! This could be road trips with a group of your friends or even with your family, no matter who your going with we have come up with the a guide for how to plan the perfect road trip!
What's the purpose? - Are you wanting to travel to the UK's best beaches or trialling to see an old friend, define what your purpose of the road trip is and this will help with you planning out the rest of the trip.
Decide where you're going? - Do you have one destination, or several destination, or no destination? Look at a map and mark out all of the places you want to visit so you get a better of idea of how you are going to do it.
How long will your road trip be?- A road trip could last a day, a week, a month and maybe even longer.
Plan for the prices of petrol - If you are driving with a group of friend consider asking to split the cost of the petrol costs.
How will you eat?- Consider preparing meals before you leave like some sandwiches and buy some snacks, if are are on a budget this is the best way. If not find some restaurants and cafe's on your route.

Music - Make a playlist of all of yours and your friends favourite music to get you in the mood for the journey!
Sleep - Figure out where you are going to sleep, this could be a friends house, a hotel, a B&B or maybe even a tent or the back seat of your car!
